Accident victim lies on road for 4 hours, dies

Howrah, Aug 26 (PTI) A 55-year-old man, who lay on theroad unattended for about four hours after being hit by atruck in Malipara area in this district, died in a Kolkatahospital today. Dhiren Nayak was hit by a truck and lay on the roadbleeding for about four hours as no one came to his rescueyesterday, police said. Police later took him to a nearby hospital and from therehe was shifted to a Kolkata hospital where he died thismorning. PTI PNT PRSMN
