Boy dies trying to board a speeding train

New Delhi, Aug 26 (PTI) A 16-year-old boy died whiletrying to board a speeding train from Shivaji Bridge railwaystation here today. Shubham, a class X student of a government school inLahori Gate, tried to board an express train to Jalandhar fromShivaji Bridge railway station, a Railway Police officialsaid. The train does not stop at Shivaji Bridge but the boy, aresident of Ghaziabad, tried to board the train despite itshigh speed, he said. He tried to put his foot on the footboard but was thrownoff and sustained severe head injuries, he added. The boy was taken to RML Hospital where he was declaredbrought dead by the doctors.
