Select copper and nickel drop in lower demand

Mumbai, Aug 26 (PTI) Select copper and nickel droppedfurther at the non-ferrous metal market here today due tostockists selling as well as lower demand from industrialusers. While, copper utensils, copper wire, zinc and tingained following good demand from industrial users and alloyindustries. Nickel fell by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 775 from Thursday’sclosing level Rs 795. Copper cable scrap and copper scrap heavy declined byRs 4 per kg each to Rs 360 and Rs 355 as compared Rs 364 andRs 359 previously. Copper armiture edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 345as against Rs 347 and copper sheet cuttings softened by a Reper kg to Rs 340. However, copper wire bar rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 388from Rs 392 previously. Zinc and tin edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 196and Rs 1,410 as compared Rs 194 and Rs 1,408. Copper utensils and brass sheet cuttings inched upby a Re per kg each to Rs 326 and RS 279 respectively. PTI BPDADIABM
