‘Rock On!! 2’ will be a more mature story, says Purab Kohli

Mumbai, Aug 27 (PTI) Actor Purab Kohli feels theupcoming second instalment of "Rock On!!" will be a more"mature" film as the stars in the movie have evolved overthe years. "Rock On!!", which released in 2008, was about a musicband of four boys, played by Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal,Kohli and Luke Kenny. The 37-year-old actor says in the gap of eight yearsbetween the two instalments, a lot has happened in thepersonal lives of the actors. "It (the experience) has been great. It just picked upfrom eight years back so it is really quite fantastic. Ineight years, a lot happened in our personal life. We are moremature as people. So that quality will perhaps reflect in our characterstoo. People are in for a more mature ‘Rock On!! 2’," Kohlitold reporters here last night. "Rock On!! 2" is set to hit theatres on November 11.While the first was directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the sequelhas been helmed by Shujat Saudagar. Its cast has an additionin form of actress Shraddha Kapoor. Kohli says there is a lot of buzz surrounding themovie but the audience need to wait for the trailer. "Everybody gets excited when we talk about Rock on.There is a ‘charcha’ of part two since a long time. We all areexcited for it. The film releases in November so I thinkpeople need to wait a little bit more (for the trailer)." The actor was speaking at Cuddles Foundation’s fourthannual fundraiser, ‘Meher IV’. PTI JUR DKBKRYS
