Auto-rickshaws vandalised

Mumbai, Aug 29 (PTI) Around 40 auto-rickshaws werevandalised by a group of men in suburban Goregaon today. Police arrested Imran Ismail Shaikh in connection withthe incident while the search for others was on, a seniorpolice officer of Dindoshi police station said. Imran had recently started an illegal parking facility atSantosh Nagar in Dindoshi, but he did not get much businessfrom auto drivers as there was already a parking lot in thearea. Upset, Imran and others allegedly vandalised therickshaws parked at the rival parking lot. Shaikh had a case of assault registered against him inthe past. PTI AVIKRK
