Time to find permanent solution to Naga political problem: Guv

Kohima, Aug 29 (PTI) Nagaland Governor P B Acharya todaysaid time is ripe for finding a permanent solution to thevexed Naga political problem by joining the ongoing dialoguewith the Union government by all Naga group leaders concerned. "It is time to work together for permanent peace inNagaland and things are taking shape with the signing of the’Framework Agreement’ between the NSCN-IM and the Uniongovernment on August 3, last year," the Governor said in astatement here. "Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister NarendraModi, it is the right time to solve the protracted Nagaproblem," he said. "We have to show our capacity and sincerity to convinceall group leaders to have dialogue with the Central governmentfor a permanent solution to the problem," he said. He appealed to all political parties, NGOs, students’organisations and civil societies to take a positive step formeeting different group leaders for a positive dialogue andjoin the ongoing peace talks for a respectable solution.
