Doultabad Mandal tehsildar caught taking bribe

Hyderabad, Aug 30 (PTI) A revenue officer was caughtby Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while he was allegedly takingbribe of Rs 2 lakhs in Medak district of Telangana. Tehsildar of Doultabad Mandal, P Ravinder Reddy wascaught red-handed by ACB officials at his office last nightwhile he was allegedly accepting the bribe amount from acomplainant, an ACB release said here. The officer had demanded the bribe to processcomplainant’s file pertaining to land conversion and toforward the same to Revenue Development Officer. The bribe amount was recovered from the accusedand he is being arrested, the release added. PTI VVKARS
