J’khand Govt approves religious tourism for poor, backward &

elderly Ranchi, Aug 30 (PTI) The Jharkhand government todaygave its nod to religious tourism for the poor, backward andelderly of all religions. The approval was given during a state cabinet meetingchaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, an official releasesaid here. The scheme is for the poor, backward and elderly ofall religions and under it, the government will foot the billsof the beneficiaries. They can undertake tourism twice – once pilgrimagewithin the state borders and another outside the state with atwo year gap between the first and the second. The cabinet also gave its nod to the MoU of NCAP-2016(National Civil Aviation Police 2016) under specificguidelines, the release added. PTI PVRDKB
