Miscreants try to break open ATM 

Kochi, Aug 30 (PTI) Unidentified assailants todaytried tobreak open an ATM of a bank near here, police said. The miscreants fled from the ATM counter at Vengolaafteran alarm bell went off immediately when they attempted tosteal the money from the machine by damaging its frame, theysaid. The CCTV has captured the movements of one person whofled from the scene, police said. The moment the South Indian Bank’s ATM was targeted,thebank’s control room at Kakkanad came to know about it and theyinformed the police.
