Pondy CM greets teachers

Puducherry, Sept 4 (PTI) Puducherry Chief MinisterV.Narayanasamy today greeted teachers in the Union Territoryon the eve of Teachers’ Day celebrations. In his message, he referred to the crucial role teacherswere playing in shaping the destiny of the students. He urgedthe teachers to keep rendering services for betterment of thestudents and thereby for development of the nation. Education Minister R Kamalakannan, Lok Sabha MPR.Radhakrishnan, PCC leader A.Namassivayam, former ChiefMinister and Leader of the opposition N.Rangasamy and leadersof various political parties also greeted the teachers. As tomorrow happens to be a holiday on account ofVinayaka Chaturthi festival, the Puducherry government willcelebrate Teachers’ Day on September 9, the EducationMinister said. PTI CORBN
