Rs 9 lakh looted from ATM

Mandi, Sep 5 (PTI) Some unidentified persons looted Rsnine lakh from an ATM of the Punjab National Bank nearSundernagar here and later set the machine on fire. The incident took place last night. The accused damagedthe ATM, installed on the campus of a private engineeringcollege, looted cash and then set fire to the machine, policesaid. As per bank authorities, the miscreants took away Rs ninelakh. A case has been registered at Sundernagar policestation and an employee of a private agency detained forquestioning, police said.
