SOS International holds protest in Jammu

Jammu, Sep 5 (PTI) An organisation of displaced peoplefrom PoK today held protests against the government here fornot giving them separate time to meet the all-partydelegation. SOS International, led by its chairman Rajiv Chuni, held aprotest demonstration at the entry gate of the venue ofall-party delegation over "failure of the government to grantseparate time and audience to them as time of few minutes fortheir delegation was not sufficient". As they continued protests and raising anti-governmentslogans, the police took some of its activists into preventivedetention for a brief time and later let them off. "We were cane-charged as if as we were anti-nationals. Oneof our elderly activist was injured. After taking us to policelines and kept for three hours there in detention, we werereleased. Is this the treatment that nationalists shouldface", Chunni claimed. PTI AB AQS RGAQS
