US dollar ends sharply cheaper against the rupee

Mumbai, Sep 6 (PTI) The US dollar ended sharply cheaperagainst the rupee at 66.52/53 against previous close of 66.82. The pound sterling finished higher at Rs 88.85/87 perpound at close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange market today.
