New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) Opposition BJP today stagedwalkouts in the Delhi Assembly following an uproar over partyleader Vijender Gupta taking an exception to Chief MinisterArvind Kejriwal’s remarks in connection with the upcomingPunjab elections. Gupta, the Leader of Opposition in the House and fellowBJP legislator Jagdish Pradhan walked out of the Assembly evenbefore the proceedings could begin. Kejriwal, who hit an election campaign trail in Punjabyesterday, had accused the SAD-BJP government of conspiring todiscredit his party by levelling false accusations. "I want to say that I have come (to Punjab) and I will bepitching my tent here. Till the time we don’t make them bitedust and send the Badals to jail, I will camp in Punjab and Iam not going to leave this place. In between, however, I willgo to Delhi for 2-3 days, but I will not leave from here tillwe send the Badals to jail," he had said. At the start of the Assembly session, Gupta asked DeputyChief Minister Manish Sisodia as to what Kejriwal meant by hisstatement. Soon, some of the AAP MLAs entered into an argument withhim and after about 20 minutes, both Gupta and Pradhan walkedout of the House. However, after sometime they came back andjoined the proceedings. Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain took the opportunityto hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "He(Kejriwal) has pitched his tent in India only and not inPakistan…Our Prime Minister does not have time for thecountry, as he is busy only for poll campaigns or foreigntrips." However, later during the House proceeding, the two BJPleaders again staged a walkout. PTI BUN KND NSD SCNSD
