Moderate rainfall in Bihar

Patna, Sep 11 (PTI) Light to moderate rainfalloccurred at most places of Bihar, the MeT Department saidtoday. Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places inthe northwest and northeast parts of the state, it said. Patna registered 4 mm of rainfall today and Purnearegistered 1.7 mm of rainfall, it said. Purnea had recorded 11.6 mm of rainfall in the last 24hours, Bhagalpur received 9.8 mm, while Gaya registered 5.8mm of rainfall, the weatherman said. Patna recorded the maximum temperature at 34.3 degreesCelsius, followed by 34.1 degrees Celsius in Gaya, 34 and 33degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur and Purnea respectively. In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the Departmentpredicted it would be generally cloudy sky with one or twospells of rain or thundershowers in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur andPurnea. PTI AR DKBASVKKB
