Court sentences 12 to life for multiple murders

Madhubani, Sep 20 (PTI) A court here today awarded lifesentence to 12 persons in connection with the murder of fourpersons in 2012. Besides handing them life sentence, District and SessionsJudge Ajay Kumar Shukla also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 oneach of them. Those awarded life sentence were — Mohammad Suleman,Jahangir, Misrool, Rama, Karim, Islam, Hanif Mansoori, SamshulFiroz, Mazrul, Nadam, Abid and Mohammad Islam. As per the prosecution, four persons were shot dead by theconvicted persons due to an old enmity on June 30, 2012 atGangoli village under Pandaul police station of the district.
