Edible oils harden in lacklustre trade

Mumbai, Sep 21 (PTI) Groudnut oil hardened in anotherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale markethere today on heavy stockists and retailers demand on the backof restricted arrivals. Refined palmolein also firmed up owing to sustainedretail buying While, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial andlinseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buyingactivity. In the edible segment, groundnut oil advanced by Rs 30per 10 kg to Rs 1,250 from Wednesday’s close Rs 1,220 andrefined palmolein rose by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 638 as againstRs 635 yesterday. Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold,castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs3,850 per 100kg, Rs 800 per 10kg and Rs 1,050 per 10kgrespectively. PTI BPD ADIMR
