Four bodies found in hotel room

Guwahati, Sept 9 (PTI) Four bodies, including thatof two women and a child, were recovered from a hotel inGuwahati today, the police said. The bodies were stated to be of the husband, wife,their minor child and the sister of the wife who had checkedinto the hotel in Ganeshguri area last evening, the policesaid. This morning when the family did not open the door oftheir room till 10 am, the hotel authorities checked throughthe ventilator and found the four of them lying on the bedwith froth on their mouths, hotel authorities said. The police was informed immediately. The family had come from Sipajhar in Darrang districtof Assam in a car and checked into the hotel. They went outfor dinner and had returned to the hotel at 8 pm, they said. Police is yet to ascertain whether it was a case ofsuicide or murder till the completion of investigations.complete. PTI ESBMM
