“I was wrong and I apologize” says Trump after obscene remarks on women

New York: In a recorded midnight regret, Donald Trump stated “I was wrong and I apologize” after being captured on tape executing shockingly obscene and sexually charged remarks.

Trump proclaimed himself a changed man, but proposed the treacheries of former President Bill Clinton and slammed his opponent Hilary Clinton in the upcoming US Presidential election, saying he would speak more about their past in coming days.

The revelation of a 2005 video of Trump speaking on an open microphone recorded the then-reality TV star talking openly about touching women and attempting to seduce a married woman. Democrats have tried to highlight such action in order to prevent women voters from supporting him on US Elections.

The video berthed just ahead of the second presidential debate on Sunday night, which seems to be critical for Trump to try to rebound after his performance in the first debate.

“We will discuss this more in the coming days. See you at the debate on Sunday,” Trump said.

House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan rescinded the offer for Trump to visit Wisconsin on Saturday.

“Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong, and I apologise,” Trump said in his video statement, posted on his Facebook and Twitter page.
