Tin firms up on rising demand

\ Mumbai, Oct 27 (PTI) Tin prices firmed up at theon-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid\rising demand from alloy industries.\ Elsewhere, select copper also gained following good demand\from industrial users.\ Copper sheet cuttings and zinc softened following poor\offtake from industrial users.\ Tin advanced by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,485 from Wednesday\\’s\close at Rs 1,465.\ Copper armature and copper utensils edged up by Rs 2 per\kg each to Rs 342 and Rs 322 as against Rs 340 and Rs 320\yesterday.\ Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire\bar inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 356, Rs 351 and Rs 384\, respectively.\ However, copper sheet cuttings traded lower by Rs 2 per kg\to Rs 337 as compared Rs 339 previously and zinc inched down\by a Re per kg to Rs 199.
