Director Sujoy Ghosh’s Bollywood movie Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh (Kahani 2) starring Arjun Rampal and Vidya Balan, has received positive reviews.
The film is a suspense thriller, which is the second instalment in the Kahaani franchise. The movie revolves around the story of a mysterious woman, who is charged with kidnapping and murder. Sujoy Ghosh has written the story and screenplay in collaboration with Suresh Nair, while Ritesh Shah has penned the dialogues for the movie.
Kahaani 2 has an amazing story with a message that has never been explored on Indian celluloid. Its screenplay is thrilling and intriguing right from the first frame to the very last. Sujoy Ghosh has once again managed to thrill his audience, who are likely to sit on the edge of their seats while watching the film.
Vidya Balan plays a double role and she has done justice to both of them. Her stellar performance is the highlight of Kahaani 2. Arjun Rampal has also performed well and his performance is another attraction of the film. Naisha Khanna, Jugal Hansraj, Tota Roychoudhury, Kharaj Mukherjee, Kaushik Sen and Manini Chadha are also assets of the movie.
Kahaani 2, which has been bankrolled by Sujoy Ghosh and Jayantilal Gada, has good production values. Clinton Cerejo’s background score and Tapan Basu’s picturisation are the attractions in the technical front.
