Aamir Khan to star in ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha’

Aamir Khan’s Rakesh Sharma biopic will reportedly be called ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’. The film will feature Aamir playing Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to go to space.

Post ‘Dangal‘ Aamir will be seen in the biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha. According to reports, the makers have also picked up an apt title for the film. Since it is a biopic on an astronaut’s life they wanted to call the film ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’

Reports says that the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and will be directed by the National Award winning filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan whose last film was the critically acclaimed sports film Lahore that released in 2010.

The media reports suggests that Chauhan has researched extensively at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) center for the project and has ensured that both the actors go through a rigorous training process before he starts filming.
