Hindu Jagran Sangha, a right-wing group, complained to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj that she helps and listens to Muslims and not Hindus. They tweeted: “Only take care Of Muslim Visa. But Hindus are getting harassed to get India Visa. VERY UPSET.”

To which Sushma Swaraj responded: “India is my country. Indians are my people. The caste, state, language or religion is not relevant for me.”

Since the BJP came to power in May 2014, Modi has been at the helm of driving India’s foreign policy, often sidelining Swaraj.
