Here how this flight attendant saved a girl’s life

Date:

Shelia Fedrick has been a flight attendant noticed a teenage girl flying with an older man. The man was well-dressed but the girl looked scruffy and untidy.

According to the report, Shelia Fedrick was quoted saying that;

“Something in the back of my mind said something is not right,” “He was well-dressed, that’s what kind of got me because why is he well dressed and she is looking disheveled and out of sorts?”

Shelia told the girl under her breath to go to the bathroom as she noticed that whenever she asked the girl a question, it was the man who answered. He was controlling her.  She left a note on the mirror for her, and the girl’s written response was a turnaround.

“She wrote back on the note and said ‘I need help,” said Sheila

The pilot was informed about the situation and when the plane landed, police were there to apprehend the creep. She gave the 14 year old girl her phone number. The girl was so grateful that she kept it and called Shelia a few weeks later.

Later after investigation, it was found that the teenager was a victim of human trafficking. She had been kidnapped and was being sold for sexual exploitation or slavery. Shelia’s instincts completely changed the course of this young woman’s life.

Shelia shared her story in the wake of a new program that trains flight attendants to spot the signs of human trafficking. This was the great example for Sheila and many other people irrespective of the job they do.
