The internationally acclaimed Desert Festival kicked-off in Jaisalmer yesterday. The rich colours of tradition and culture of Rajasthan, were showcased with a procession to commence the festival.
Famous folk artists coming from different parts of the country mesmerised the audience who watched the spectacular performances as the procession moved further.
A cavalcade of 48 camels of Border Security Force (BSF) was the major attraction on first day of the festival. World’s eight wonder Camel Mountain Band enthralled one and all with its creations as international and domestic tourists captured the moments in their cameras.
Events like the camel tattoo show, camel polo, are expected to take place in the three day festival. It is a breathtaking view in the Golden City with beauty of Rajasthan villages.
