Movies to watch out for this Weekend

Date:

Beauty and the Beast

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast live-action movie has hit theatres on Friday and we could not be more excited! Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-imagining of the classic Disney movie cartoon. The movie features quite the all-star cast with Emma Watson in the leading role as Belle, who is trapped in a magical castle by a scary beast with a curse upon him.

The movie is an excellent remake and has wonderful music a way of making you sing along, even if you don’t plan to.  There are some very well done credits after the film is over. They’re well worth staying in your seats to watch.  Even with it being a step-by-step remake, it’s a wonderfully nostalgic trip through childhood – and that’s a great thing.

Machine

There Is Nothing Mast About This Mustafa- Kiara Advani’s Heartless Love Story!

Keeping your brain, heart and other functional organs aside is highly advisable if you EVER plan to plunge yourself in this abyss.

It is quite disheartening to see this flick churned out from the Abbas-Mustan stable who are known for their forte in the genre of thrillers! Machine borrows heavily from the duo’s previous works but sadly the story is never gripping enough to keep you hooked with its predictable twists and turns. The super cheesy dialogues add more to your woes as you struggle to invest yourself in this boring fest.

For those who are lucky enough to escape from its clutches, let’s just stick to Akshay Kumar- Raveena Tandon’s Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast song instead!
