Praneeth victorious against Srikant in Singapore Open finals

Shuttler B. Sai Praneeth wins the Singapore Open super series men’s finals by defeating the fellow countrymen Kidambi Srikant. The intense battle between the two continued for 54 long minutes. After losing the first set, Srikant came back strong with the final score of 17-21, 21-17, and 21-12.

Praneeth became the second badminton player in the history to win Singapore Open finals. Praneeth showed consistency throughout the tournament. It was a win-win situation for India in the finals as both the shuttlers belonged to India. Praneeth now ranks 28th in the world.
