Air India flight no. AI 849 overshot the runway while landing at Pune Airport. After this close encounter, 153 passengers on board were evacuated safely. The flight was inbound from Delhi and the airstrip where the passenger jet landed was closed according to the reports.

An Air India official said “the plane overshot the runway while landing “emergency evacuation” was carried out. All the 152 passengers on board are safe and no one suffered injuries”.
