Man hacked to death by a sickle in broad daylight

A man was brutally hacked to death by two men equipped with sickles in the middle of a busy street outside the court in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Victim, Maruti Reddy was on his way to court when the assailants dragged him out of the auto rickshaw and started thrashing him with sharp sickles in the front of the massive crowd who were busy doing video recording of the incident.

Maruti ran for his life, but unfortunately lost his balance and fell. The attackers who are said to be brothers struck Maruti continuously before he died on the spot.

The attackers later surrendered to the police. The police said the victim’s sister was in a relationship with the attacker’s son in law and there were other disputes between their families.
