With the alarming rate of increasing pollution in India, the new form of tourism, Eco-tourism is evolving in the country.

Eco-tourism is one way to explore beautiful pollution free landscapes with a sense of responsibility and it also generates income for the locals to keep the place as clean as possible with their efforts. While the tourist places around North India like the states of Himachal and Uttrakhand are failing to maintain the cleanliness of the tourist spots, hill stations in the states of South and East India are trying their best to maintain the serenity of their beautiful mountainous landscapes.

Coorg (Karnataka)
