HDFC to organise 500 workshops to educate traders about GST

HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) Bank is planning to organise workshops on GST (Goods and Services Tax) to educate traders, merchants and businessmen about the implications of the uniform indirect tax under GST, which will come into effect on July 1, according to the statement by the bank

More than 500 workshops will be held around 300 cities on this coming week. The initiative by HDFC will help the businessmen, traders and merchants to understand the concept of GST in a better manner. HDFC will also help them with procedures for registering and workflows and case studies.
