Hidden Gems: Alila Fort in Bishangarh is the ideal vacation spot

Date:

Overlooking the beautiful Rajasthani landscape, Alila Fort Bishangarh has stood tall on a granite hill for over two centuries and the magnificence of this property is sure to be love at first sight for you. This 230 years old fort has been converted into a heritage hotel over a period of 10 years and what we love about it is that it still retains the look and feel of a warrior fort.

Their 59 rooms & suites are quite cozy, aesthetically done up with spacious bathrooms. The view from their open-air dining terrace called Nazaara is a photographers dream come true offering stupendous views of the surrounding Bishangarh village; you can literally spend hours on end taking insta-worthy clicks & timelapses especially during sunrise/sunset. Also, they have a spa that literally lies in the dungeons! So, if you’re willing to spend some time energizing yourself, this is the place.

Don’t follow Google Maps entirely on the way to Jaipur as it would lead to a few wrong turns however once you reach Bishangarh, it’s very accurate with its directions to the hotel, especially as there are no other signages along the way.

So if you’re looking for a destination to escape your chaotic lives, Alila Fort awaits you, just 4 hours away from the capital!
