OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition launched in India: Price and availability

Date:

The Chinese company OnePlus is now set to launch the Lava Red edition of the OnePlus 5T. The device is set to go on sale on January 20 at 12 pm at a price of Rs 37,999. As of now, it is listed on OnePlus’ official store and will also be available on Amazon India’s website.

OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition launch comes at a time when Samsung Galaxy A8+ enters the Indian market, turning into a direct rival for the Samsung’s flagship smartphone.

OnePlus 5T comes with a few features that are usually found on Samsung’s flagships, but when it comes to specifications, OnePlus 5T is the true ‘flagship killer’.

OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition becomes the fourth variant after the midnight black, sandstone white and the special Star Wars edition which was unveiled last month. For now, the device will only be available in the 8GB variant and the registration for the sale of the device has already started.

For the first time, the Chinese company has launched a red coloured smartphone and was available in a few markets outside India. Since the company received an extensive request for the red coloured variant of OnePlus 5T from India, it will be available on Amazon India.

The company claims that the device undergoes a two anodic oxidation process, double blasting and AF coating which gives it a certain texture. Special wallpaper would also be available for the device to match the Red theme of the device.

Apart from the aesthetic differences, the device is identical to the 8GB variant of the midnight black version.
