Government empanels 49 officers as Joint Secretary

New Delhi: In what could be a major reshuffle, the central government on Friday cleared the empanelment of more than four dozen officers to hold Joint Secretary or JS Equivalent posts in the government.

The list of 49 officers include 02 IAS officers, 05 IPS officers and 15 IFoS officers. Rest of the officers belong to Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) and Indian Trade Service (ITS) cadres.
