Surat man rejects Salman Khan’s Rs 2 crore offer for his stallion

Date:

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s love for animals is well known, especially for dogs. However, it seems Khan has developed an interest in horses as well.

Recently, the Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor has reportedly offered a whopping Rs 2 crore to buy a rare-breed stallion in Surat, Gujarat. However, he had to face rejection as the offer was turned down.

The proud owner of the rare-breed horse named ‘Saqab’ is Siraj Khan Pathan, who is unwilling to sell the animal no matter how high the amount. Siraj in his reaction to ANI revealed that the Badal family of Punjab had also made an offer of Rs 1.11 crores to buy six-year-old Saqab, the horse from Olpad town in Surat in Gujarat but had to face denial from him.

Another builder from Surat region contacted him with a massive offer of Rs 3.11 crore to Siraj but he turned down that offer too. Interestingly, Saqab is popular due to the fact that the stallion is a rare breed and only matches with two other horses in the world. One of the breeds is found in the United States and another in Canada, reports Times of India.

The owner also spilt some beans as to why the horse is so special. Siraj said that the horse can walk at the speed of 43km per hour on a clean graval road, while other horses cannot maintain their energy for long. Saqab can easily continue that pace through its run.

However, the amazing rise in the price of the stallion occurred after Siraj bought it. He became the third owner of the horse after he bought it for Rs 14.5 lakh at Palotara Fair, in Rajasthan, back when it was a filly. The stunning animal has won all 19 races it has participated in so far.
