Here’s all you need to know about the CBSE Paper Leak

CBSE has lately come into the spotlight because of the paper leak and re-examinations. CBSE announced about the retest on Wednesday for the class X and class XII for maths and economics respectively.

Amid the announcement, all the students of class X and XII were furious and came on roads to protest about the same. They assembled at Jantar Mantar to stage the protest with placards in hands that say “we want justice”.

  1. CBSE chief on leave.
  2. The dates for the re-examination will be announced at the end of this week.
  3. The CBSE complaint to the Delhi police has named a Rajinder Nagar coaching institute head as a possible source of the paper leak.
  4. HRD Minister Prakash Javdekar has said that a new leak-proof system will be put before conducting any examination.
  5. The students protesting at Jantar Mantar wants the CBSE Chief to be sacked.
  6. Congress President Rahul Gandhi held PM Narendra Modi responsible for the paper leak as he said that the “chowkidar was weak”. Taking to Twitter, Gandhi slammed the government over various leaks from Aadhaar data leak to the CBSE paper leak.
  7. Two schools were also named in the paper leak.
  8. Amid the paper leak, Delhi Police is conducting raids at various locations in Delhi.
  9. AAP slammed Modi Government over the paper leak. Raising the issue of the paper leak in the Delhi Assembly, AAP’s Alka Lamba said that Prime Minister Modi “gave big lectures to the students on the examination” but the students were “suffering as they will have to reappear”.
  10. A special investigation team has been set up to check the alleged paper leak.
  11. Students and teachers will apply in High Court for the same.
