Veteran actor of ‘Sholay’ fame dies at 85

Veteran Actor Raj Kishore, who played the role of one of the prisoners in the iconic film ‘Sholay’, passed away in Mumbai at the age of 85 following heart related illness. As per the reports, the actor’s funeral took place at Aarey Crematorium around 10:30 am. Some reports also suggest that he passed away at 1:30 am on Friday at his Mumbai residence.

He was known for his role in the iconic film Sholay. While some of his remarkable films include Padosan (1968), Deewar (1975), Ram Aur Shyam (1967), Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971),Bombay To Goa 1972).

RIP Raj Kishore.
