Kartik Aryan likely to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film

Date:

Kartik Aaryan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ which has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark at the domestic box office but that’s not all, the actor made news recently when he walked the ramp with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Singapore for designer Manish Malhotra.

Now if reports are to be believed, Kartik might collaborate with renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a film.

A news publication revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kartik have met a couple of times and are in talks for a project. According to reports, the duo has discussed some ideas and though nothing is decided so far they might team up for a project.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali even appreciated Kartik’s performance in his last  ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and if things go well Kartik might star in a romantic movie helmed by Bhansali.

The filmmaker reportedly thinks that Kartik is a suitable option for a romantic film. However, this is not the first time Bhansali has considered Kartik for his film, the ‘Padmaavat’ director allegedly wanted to produce a film based on the love story of poet Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam and he reportedly approached Kartik for the role but the project was eventually shelved.

Meanwhile, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ which hit screens in February, raked in over Rs. 100 crore at the box office. The film also starred Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha and is the third highest weekend opener in the year 2018 so far.
