High drama at Delhi Airport, flight delayed, pilot refuses to fly

Date:

New Delhi: An Air India Delhi-Jaipur flight which was scheduled at 6 pm, got delayed by 5:30 hours to the horror of the passengers. Some angry passengers sent these videos to NewsMobile, where passengers can be seen lashing out at the ground staff.

Some passengers on the flight were tourists travelling from the US, and clearly, the treatment did not leave them with a good impression of the country.

The delays have become a bane for the national carrier that didn’t find any suitors when the government wanted to divest stake in the national carrier.

The civil aviation ministry recently issued norms to compensate passengers for delays.
