Read how Western Railway enrolls travellers to get cleaner stations

Date:

By now, you must be tired and bored of seeing filthy compartments and stinky washrooms of trains and railway stations. Now, if one is at a railway station, where does he or she go to freshen up? There is no choice left, but to go to the ones made at the stations. But, the amount of dirt in the washrooms makes it extremely uncomfortable to use them, especially in the case of ladies.

Now, it is time for some changes, and so Western Railway is bringing about a change in their system. They are assuring passengers a quick resolution to the challenges. They have asked passengers to click photos of dirty areas and send them to a dedicated WhatsApp number (9004499733) set up by the Western Railway.

The passengers can send pictures of filthy local trains, toilets, and stations and the complaints will be resorted within a span of a few hours. Additionally, staff members are being deployed for the round-the-clock complaints cell.

The area will be attempted to be cleaned immediately and additional resources will be deployed from nearby stations in the case of need.
