TN Deputy CM O Panneerselvam did not bow down to PM Modi

A picture is making rounds on social media in which Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam is bowing down to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The viral picture has been tweeted by Suby Tweets which has gathered over 600 retweets so far.

FACT CHECK

When we look closely and used Google Reverse Image Search, it revealed that the viral picture is morphed and Panneerselvam did not down to PM Modi.

The above picture is the original picture when Panneerselvam met PM Modi in Delhi on October 12th, 2017.

Though O Panneerselvam bowed down, it was not in front of PM Modi. He bowed down to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa.
