Bhansali had initially thought of taking Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai for ‘Baajirao Mastani’, but the strained relationship between the two was the reason for not going ahead with it. In a recent interview with a web portal, when Aishwarya was asked as to when she will be working again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actress said that he had even approached her for ‘Padmaavat’, but he could not get her his Khilji.
