Honor Play will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India from August 6. The sale will commence on the online portal at 4 pm and will be available in two colour schemes- Midnight Black and Navy Blue.
Honor, a sub-brand under the Huawei Group has teamed up with one-make sports car racing series, Audi R8 LMS Cup by German automobile manufacturer Audi, to promote Honor Play in India.

According to Amazon’s Honor Play page, Audi-Honor Global integration reads “Both Audio and Honor root their vision in technology, allowing Audi to lead in the racing world and Honor to lead in mobile innovation.”
The Honor Play is the first smartphone in India to come with Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology out-of-the-box. It will be rolled out to other Honor smartphones via OTA updates. Other highlights include AI camera enhancements, a metallic back, up to 6GB of RAM, and the trusty HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor.

While the price of Honor Play in India hasn’t yet been revealed, it is expected to be in direct competition with Xiaomi Mi A2, which is coming to India next week. We can also anticipate Honor Play to compete with Nokia 7 Plus, Huawei P20 Lite and Moto X4.
