Shraddha nails the look of this ace Badminton player for upcoming biopic

It is raining biopics in Bollywood. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who is currently working on a biopic on ace Badminton player Saina Nehwal shared her first look on social media from the film.

The actress has definitely aced the look and she looks really similar to Nehwal and you can see her screaming on the badminton court.

The Saina Nehwal biopic will be helmed by ‘Taare Zameen Par’ director Amole Gupte and will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-series. The makers began filming the biopic on September 22. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had taken to Twitter, to announce the ‘mahurat’ shot of the ‘Saina’.

Referring to her role as the badminton star, Shraddha Kapoor reportedly said that she is really excited for the film. She identified Sania as a champion and a youth icon and stated that it will be a challenging role for an actor as it requires an immense amount of transformation.

On the professional front, the actress is busy with multiple projects. She recently had two back-to-back releases. Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree’ was a huge success and managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. The film also starred Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, her other venture ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, which released on September 21, also stars Shahid Kapoor. Shraddha has also been roped in for Sujeeth’s sci-fi film ‘Sahoo’ which also stars Prabhas, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Evelyn Sharma. Produced by UV Creations and T-Series, the film is reportedly the second most expensive Indian film made to date. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 31, 2019.
