#MeToo: After Ranatunga, it’s Malinga who has been accused of sexual harassment

The #MeToo campaign has reached the sports industry after the Bollywood and the News world and after Vairamuthu, it’s the Srilankan bowler Lasith Malinga who has been accused by a woman but the beans have been spilled by singer, Chinmayi after she tweeted the story form her Twitter account and said that the woman would like to remain anonymous.

During the  time when he was playing for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premiere League (IPL), the bowler forced himself upon the girl after calling her into his hotel room.

In another instance of sexual harassment by a cricketer, a flight attendant has accused Sri Lankan legendary cricketer Arjuna Ranatunga of misbehaving with her in the past.
