VVIP brat brandishes gun at Delhi 5-star hotel, stirs social media outrage

A shocking video has rocked the world on social media, where a guy is seen brandishing a gun at a posh New Delhi hotel.

The Brat has been identified as Ashish Pandey, the son of a former Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) lawmaker Rakesh Pandey.

In the video, Ashish is seen with a gun in his hands while he argues with a couple, allegedly after the women objected to him walking into the women’s washroom.

The latter part of the video shows Pandey being dragged away by the hotel staff as he continues to shout expletives and threats.

A case has been filed under the Arms Act and sections 506 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code. The last location of Ashish’s phone number was traced to Lucknow. A Look-Out circular, which alerts the police at borders, airports and railway stations about a wanted man, has also been issued.

The video provoked outrage on social media, while many prominent personalities expressed their concern over the incident.

The concern Hotel, Hyatt Regency in a statement said ” The safety & security of our guests is our primary concern. We take the incident seriously & have been working with the local police authorities on the same.”
