Girish Radhakrishnan takes over as the United India CMD

Girish Radhakrishnan has taken charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of non-life PSU, United India Insurance Company.
Before this he was heading the UK operations of New India Assurance company for four-and-a-half years.
The Chennai-headquartered United India Insurance Company Limited was incorporated as a company in 1938 and nationalised in 1972. United India has has 18,300 employees spread across 1,340 offices providing insurance cover to more than 1 crore policy holders. The company has variety of insurance products to provide insurance cover from bullock carts to satellites.
