Sensex plunged 345.56 points to 34,812.99; Saudi to cut crude supplies

The Sensex ended 345.56 points lower at 34,812.99, on Monday while Nifty was down 103 points at 10,482.20. Investors turned cautious as Saudi said it will cut crude supplies and they waited for key inflation data to be announced later in the day.

Rupee was trading lower at 73.07 against the dollar as Brent crude traded higher $71.59 after Saudi Arabia announced supply cut.

Twenty-five of the 30 Sensex stocks fell led by a nearly 5% decline in Tata Motors after its Jaguar Land Rover unit reported a drop in October sales from a year earlier.
