US President Trump, PM Imran engage in Twitter war

Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump engaged in war of words. On Sunday, Trump defended his administration’s decision to stop hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid to Pakistan.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday hit back at US President Donald Trump in a series of tweets after the US President claimed that the Islamic nation had not done a ‘damn thing’ for America.

PM Imran strongly responded saying record needed to be put straight on Mr Trump’s tirade against Pakistan.

In his tweet, Khan pointed out five stating that ‘no Pakistani was involved in 9/11 but Pakistan had decided to participate in US’ War on Terror.’

Shortly after Khan’s series of tweets, Trump again took to Twitter. Trump tweeted, “Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!”
