Union Minister Nitin Gadkari falls unconscious during an event in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari became unconscious during the national anthem at Rahuri, Ahmednagar on Friday.

“Had slight medical condition due to low sugar. I have been attended by doctors and i am doing well now. I thank all of you for all the well wishes” The Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted.

Gadkari became unconscious while the national anthem was being sung after the convocation ceremony of the Agricultural University in Rahuri.

Assisted by Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, the minister has been rushed to the hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
